I’m a 47-year-old overstimulated writer by day and mobile crisis response advocate by night. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies from University of Texas @ San Antonio and a Masters in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, I have spent the last twenty-five years writing for myself and the last twelve years working toward caring for and encouraging dreams in others. During a five-year stint as a bookseller at Waldenbooks and Borders, I was surrounded by the thing that truly brings joy to my life – stories. Currently, I live in Des Moines, IA, sharing a home with family, four cats, and two dogs. By night I save others, and by day, I save myself.
